All around Dresden, Saxony’s Elbland awaits with castles, manufactories and vineyards. From our house right on the Elbe you can reach the loveliest destinations in next to no time — by car, suburban train, historic narrow-gauge railway or, most stylish of all, by Elbe paddle steamer.
We’ve put together four of our favourites for you: the “White Gold” in Meissen, wine & sparkling wine at Schloss Wackerbarth, the fairy-tale palace of Moritzburg and the royal summer residence of Schloss Pillnitz.

Tip: several destinations combine well — Wackerbarth, Moritzburg and Meissen all lie in the same Elbland just north of Dresden.
